Imani Cameron
Hi! I’m Imani, an MSW therapist currently working toward my LSW. I work with adolescents to adults, supporting them through challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and time management. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients shift unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping skills, and reconnect with their inner strength.
I became a mom as a teenager, so I know firsthand what it’s like to grow up while raising someone else. That experience shaped me into the compassionate, real, and resilient person I am today, and it deeply influences the work I do. I understand the pressure of trying to hold everything together, the fear of losing yourself, and the guilt of wondering if you're doing enough for your child.
Now, as a professional and a parent, I truly get the duality of multitasking between work and motherhood. I bring that lived experience into the therapy space, offering a nonjudgmental and supportive environment where you can just be — messy, honest, and human.
Therapy with me is about more than coping. It’s about healing, growth, and finding your way back to yourself.
